Description
The ULTRA-GRIT SPORTFIT is derived from the race-proven ULTRA-GRIT platform, developed with the Ribble Outliers gravel team in the world’s toughest off-road races, from Unbound to The Traka and The Dirty Reiver. With its more upright, confident riding position, SPORTFIT gives you greater control without compromising speed. Weighing just 8.9 kg, it pairs our lightweight, aero-optimised frameset with a rugged SRAM Apex XPLR AXS wireless drivetrain, durable DT Swiss G 1800 wheels, 45mm Schwalbe G-One R tyres, and a comfort-focused Selle Italia Model X saddle. Topped off with an ergonomic one-piece carbon cockpit.
Groupset
Apex is the groupset designed for riders who demand versatility and performance. Apex AXS delivers a wide range 1x12 drivetrain that's ideal for gravel, bikepacking, adventure, casual rides, and everything in between. Its wireless electronic shifting ensures smooth, reliable performance with precise gear changes, excellent chain retention, and confident hydraulic disc braking. With full AXS connectivity, you can customise shift settings, monitor battery life, and update firmware, all from a single device. Intuitive and user-friendly, Apex keeps your focus where it belongs: on the ride.
Wheelset
Boasting a wide rim profile and robust construction, the DT Swiss G 1800 Spline alloy wheelset delivers confident control and comfort across rough and unpredictable gravel terrain. Paired with 45 mm Schwalbe G-One R Performance tyres, it strikes the perfect balance of speed, grip, and stability. Ideal for riders who push the boundaries across varied and demanding surfaces.
Handlebars
The new Ribble one-piece carbon cockpit enhances performance while sharpening the bike’s aesthetic with clean lines and fully integrated cabling. Its relaxed, upright position improves control and visibility across mixed terrain, while ergonomic grips boost all-day comfort and confident handling, on back lanes, gravel, and everything in between.
Saddle
Stay stable and comfortable over rough terrain. Our integrated seat clamp, proprietary D-shaped carbon seatpost, and Selle Italia Model X saddle combine to deliver outstanding rear-end compliance, smoothing out trail chatter for improved comfort and all-day performance.
Suspension Fork Upgrade
When the gravel gets rough and the terrain turns technical, the RockShox Rudy Ultimate fork smooths out the ride. Available as an upgrade on the Ribble ULTRA-GRIT SPORTFIT, this premium suspension fork is purpose-built for gravel racing—delivering up to 30mm of travel for added comfort, control, and confidence. Whether you're carving through corners or charging down loose descents, Rudy’s refined damping and lightweight design help you stay fast, focused, and fully in command.
